Dlova shared a now-deleted Instagram video (screenshot above) and wrote, “Lastly she owned her crown with our Instagram filter we collaborated on with @will.hurt and @maxwellmutanda she loved It!! When she looked away, she realized it was the same headpiece I was holding! This is an experience I will never forget!!! Thank you again @southernafricaarts—you can try the filter on my bio.”
Dlova created the Instagram filter in partnership with Southern Africa Arts, a British Council that specializes in connecting creative communities in the U.K. and Africa.
During her visit, Markle gave her final speech of the royal tour and revealed that she hopes to inspire young children to dream big.
“I remember being a young girl watching TV and seeing what was happening in the world, and frankly, often feeling despair,” she said. “When you constantly see and hear negativity, it can be overwhelming; you can feel powerless, and lost, you can feel different, confused, or like you just don’t belong. And I’m sure there is a young girl or boy watching this and thinking the exact same thing. So, this is for you.”
If you need us, we’ll be crossing our fingers that Markle starts using Instagram filters on her joint Instagram account with Prince Harry.
