Today is Mean Girls Day, and the cast of the cult-classic comedy is commemorating the film not by wearing pink but by bringing fans together to raise money for the victims of the tragic mass shooting in Las Vegas on Oct. 1.

Former plastics Lacey Chabert (Gretchen Wieners) and Amanda Seyfried (Karen Smith) teamed up with fellow cast members Jonathan Bennett (Aaron Samuels) and Daniel Franzese (Damian) to encourage fans to donate via their Mean Girls for Las Vegas GoFundMe Page.

For the fund-raiser, the cast created a video that features a series of clips in which the actors ask “the groolest fans out there” to donate three dollars (like October 3, duh) to help meet their $300,000 goal. All proceeds will go to the National Compassion Fund, an organization offering aid to victims of mass-casualty crimes.

“Fetch” may never happen, but bringing relief to families in need can.
