Matthew McConaughey's 12-Year-Old Son Is the Spitting Image of His Father in New Instagram Pic

Matthew McConaughey has some pretty strong genes. At least, according to the latest photograph of his son, Levi.

On Thursday, the actor's wife, Camila Alves McConaughey, shared a rare photo on Instagram featuring their oldest child looking over a giant chocolate chip cookie. “The look on our faces says it all..the BEST SUGAR FREE chocolate chip cookie skillet recipe from our friend @roccodispirito! It's been a week full of celebration with @officiallymcconaughey’s #Greenlights book release so we had an excuse to make this amazing dessert. Judges at home give it a 10/10! Linked the recipe in my stories so you can all try it now!” she captioned the post.

It’s clear from the pic that the 12-year-old inherited many of his dad’s best qualities. And we’re not just talking about that curly hair. The pre-teen also seems to have acquired McConaughey’s smile and vision (since they both wear glasses). Not to mention, the similarities in the shapes of their eyes and noses are unmistakable.

And we weren’t the only ones to notice the likeness. Fans quickly began filling the comments section of the Instagram post. One user wrote, “Yes!!! Your son looks so much like his daddy,” and another added, “Omg he looks just like Matthew!! What a doll!!” One follower even dubbed him a “mini Matthew McConaughey.”

This is one of the first glimpses we’ve seen of the duo’s kids (they are also parents to 10-year-old daughter Vida and 7-year-old son Livingston), since they have chosen to keep their family lives out of the spotlight.

Camilla, if you’re reading this, keep the family photos (and cookie recipes) coming.
