What’s better than a film starring a female superhero (ahem, Wonder Woman)? How about one that stars eight

When screenwriter Craig Kyle tweeted a behind-the-scenes shot (most likely on the set of the 83-person photo shoot for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War) featuring eight of Marvel’s most badass ladies, it gave us one thought: Now that’s an action film we’d love to, yesterday. Take a look.

The eight Marvel Universe women featured include Zoe Saldana (Gamora in Guardians of the Galaxy), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel in Captain Marvel), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow in basically every Marvel film since 2010), Danai Gurira (Okoye in Black Panther), Karen Gillan (Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy), Evangeline Lilly (The Wasp in Ant-Man) and, finally, Pom Klementieff (Mantis in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) in all their girl-power glory.

While we may have to wait for all eight of these superheroes to star together in their own film, Marvel’s first female-centric film starring Brie Larson, Captain Marvel, hits theaters in 2019.
