It’s Finally Confirmed! Maroon 5 Is Headlining at the Super Bowl and Here’s Who’s Joining Them

Let’s be honest, the halftime show and the commercials (of course) are the real reasons we love Super Bowl Sunday. Oh yeah, and the food. And now we just got three more reasons to be excited for Super Bowl LIII.

It looks like Maroon 5, Travis Scott and Big Boi will be performing during this year’s halftime show in Atlanta on February 3. The news (released Sunday by the NFL) comes after some other performers previously turned down the gig (Rihanna, Lady GaGa and Cardi B.)

Speculation about the band headlining the show began back in September. However, Adam Levine remained mum about the topic (even though he wasn’t fooling anyone in his interview with Ellen DeGeneres). This will be Maroon 5’s first ever Super Bowl performance (!), and if you ask us, it’s about time.

We only have two questions: How will these guys hold up to last year’s performance (remember Justin Timberlake?), and will there be another selfie kid?
