Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’ Just Made History Again with Three Guinness World Records

'Tis the season for the most popular holiday song to continue to break records.

Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" just broke the Guinness World Records—not once, but three times (!). The singer accepted the honors during her 2019 All I Want For Christmas Is You tour in Las Vegas and shared the moment on Instagram.

She captioned the post, "Thank you so much Guinness World Records for honoring me with three records in the 2020 book! Michael from @guinnessworldrecords presented me with a certificate on stage, so naturally, I asked him to join us for the #AllIWantForChristmasIsYou finale!"

Carey now holds the record for the highest-charting holiday (Christmas/New Year) song on the Billboard Hot 100 by a solo artist, most streamed track on Spotify in 24 hours by a female and most weeks in the UK singles Top 10 chart for a Christmas song. The three records will be included in the Guinness World Records 2020 Edition book.

She received a certificate and an advance copy of the book on stage (accompanied by her adorable kids). Currently, the "Songbird Supreme" (coined by the organization) has been traveling across the country singing songs from her 1995 Merry Christmas album, including the holiday hit. Her last stop will be on December 15 in New York City (just 10 days before Christmas).

The "We Belong Together" singer will then return to the stage for her Las Vegas residency "The Butterfly Returns" in February 2020. Until then, we'll be streaming "All I Want for Christmas Is You" on repeat. (Maybe she'll break another record...)
