Mandy Moore Posts ‘Spoiler’-Filled Message Ahead of Dramatic ‘This Is Us’ Return

*Warning: spoilers ahead*

ICYMI: In November, it was revealed that although the hit NBC show, This Is Us, had just aired season five, episode four, it wasn’t scheduled to return with more Pearson drama until 2021. As you can imagine, fans were confused and annoyed, to say the least. Since then, we’ve been relying on Mandy Moore to provide us with inside information and updates on what to expect (and when). And now that the first episode of the new year is finally here, she’s providing us with “spoilers” and extra insights.

On Tuesday—just hours before episode five was released—the 36-year-old actress shared a slideshow on Instagram featuring snaps from the new episode, “A Long Road Home.” In an interesting twist, each photo included one of the main characters of the show (Kate, Randall, Rebecca, etc.) on the phone.

“Spoiler Alert: There's a LOT of important calls to be made in tonight's episode (and I'm not just talking phone calls)...” Moore captioned the post. She even added a wink-face emoji for emphasis.

If you watched the episode, you already know what calls she’s referring to. There's Kate's call to get the abortion (both the actual phone call and the decision that Moore is likely alluding to), Kevin's decision to go film in Vancouver, Randall's call to a man who reveals he knew his mother (who was supposed to have died) and Kate's call to go and face her abuser Mark, to name a few. Yeah, you could say the episode was jam-packed with revelations and emotions.

And while Mandy’s captions didn’t actually spoil anything, it was the perfect teaser for an episode that we were absolutely not prepared for.
