'This Is Us' Star Mandy Moore Is Getting Candid About the End of Her ‘Favorite Job’

It’s officially been six days since we learned that This Is Us is ending after six seasons and it seems like we’re not the only ones still dealing with the heartbreaking news. Turns out, Mandy Moore has some serious feelings about the announcement.

ICYMI: Last week, Variety confirmed that the popular NBC series will come to an end after its upcoming season. Although the fifth installment is currently airing on NBC, the final season is expected to begin production this summer to premiere later this year.

On Friday, Moore, who plays Rebecca Pearson, shared her feelings about the “official” news on her own Instagram account. The 37-year-old actress posted a screenshot of show creator Dan Fogleman’s Tweet talking about the upcoming ending.

The tweet read: “Whoever casually first said ‘All good things must come to an end’ never had to end their favorite thing. While sad to have just 1 season left, also grateful to NBC for letting us end the show how, and when, we always intended. We'll work hard to stick the landing.”

Moore captioned her post, “Officially official. One season left of my favorite job. You can bet we will be soaking in every single moment. #thisisus.”

So, while the announcement wasn’t completely out of nowhere (Fogelman has said from the start that the series would likely end after six seasons), it’s still difficult to accept. At least we know we’re not alone with all of these emotions.

Hang in there, Mandy.
