We don't know about you guys but at this stage of quarantine, we could really use a fresh haircut. Alas, if you're a California resident, you may need to wait a little while longer to book your next appointment. Just this week, governor Gavin Newsom called for the re-closure of bars, indoor dining and (sigh) salons in an effort to curb the recent spike in COVID-19 cases in the area.
In a case of perfect timing, actress Mandy Moore visited Nine Zero One, an LA-based salon and favorite among celebs including Hilary Duff, Emma Roberts and soccer champ, Megan Rapinoe, for a fresh cut and color just before this new mandate was ordered.
Her longtime stylist and co-owner of the salon, Nikki Lee, posted a photo of the This Is Us star yesterday sporting a collarbone-grazing lob and subtle brown highlights (along with a chic, paisley-printed face mask). This beachy style has become somewhat of a signature for Mandy in recent years and we can't say we blame her. In addition to flattering her features, it's also an incredibly low-maintenance look that requires minimal upkeep as it grows out. To which we say: Long live the lob!
