Mandy Moore Reveals She’s ‘Still Processing’ Her Son’s Birth—& Finally Shares a Pic of His Face

Last week, we asked Mandy Moore to continue posting weekly updates of her and her husband Taylor Goldsmith’s newborn child. Lucky for us, she listened and shared another photo of her son over the weekend.

On Saturday, the 36-year-old actress revealed an adorable new pic of herself with the couple’s baby boy, August, just moments after he was born. “Still processing how Gus’s birth unfolded with utter gratitude for my body, my support team and the journey our sweet boy took to meet us. [photo emoji] by our magnificent doula @ccmeyer.” Unlike the birth announcement and the other photos the This Is Us star has posted, this one showed the 2-week-old’s face.

And we weren’t the only ones who were excited about the new photo. The Instagram post received over 500,000 likes and almost 3,000 comments.

ICYMI: The couple announced the arrival of their baby boy on February 23 on social media. “Gus is here,” Moore captioned the post, slyly revealing the newborn’s nickname. “Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith. He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents. We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined.” She simply signed the post, “M + T.”

The duo revealed that they were expecting back in September 2020 on her personal Instagram account and shared a variety of images featuring her growing baby bump. The slideshow started off with a black-and-white photo of Goldsmith cradling Moore’s pregnant belly, followed by a close-up shot and candid pic of the proud parents-to-be.

We’re happy to finally get a glimpse of Gus’s sweet face.
