"Hey Harry, don’t run off to Canada. It’s so boring there," Madonna joked in the IG video. "I’ll let them sublet my apartment on Central Park West. It’s two-bedroom, it’s got the best view of Manhattan. Incredible balcony, that’s going to be the winner, that’s going to be the dealbreaker. No, Buckingham Palace has got nothing on CPW."
According to Page Six, her co-op apartment is worth $7.3 million and is located on West 64th Street (overlooking New York’s Central Park). While the "Like a Prayer" singer may be interested in subletting, her offer would have to be approved by the building’s board. (But let’s be honest, if this actually happened, who would say no to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?)
Earlier this year, the royal couple stepped down from their senior roles and decided to split their time between the U.K. and Canada. The last time we saw Markle in NYC was for her baby shower, so the City That Never Sleeps does hold a special place in her heart. However, we’re pretty sure they're going to pass on the "Vogue" singer’s offer to relocate.
Glad to see Madonna is joining the list of stars supporting the couple’s decision to pursue a more independent life.
