Lorde just penned a full-page message in the newspaper to thank fans for their ongoing support.

The 21-year-old artist recently took out an ad in the New Zealand Herald, which featured a hand-written note detailing her experience at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

She wrote, “Oh, hi there! I’m writing this from New York City. [My brother] Angelo and I sat in Madison Square Garden last night and saw a lot of crazy and wonderful things. I just wanted to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for loving and embracing Melodrama the way you did. My nomination belongs to you.”

Lorde was the only female artist nominated for Album of the Year at this year’s Grammy Awards. Although she was asked to perform in the Tom Petty tribute, she was also the only nominee in her category who wasn’t offered a solo performance.

She continued, “Thank you, also, for believing in female musicians. You set a beautiful precedent! All my love, Lorde.”

The “Green Light” singer even added yearbook-like confessions to the top of the ad, where she shared, “Jay-Z’s hands are really soft,” and, “I met Stevie Nicks and almost cried.”

Same, Lorde. Same.
