Another big little TV adaptation is in the works for best-selling author Liane Moriarty.
The Big Little Lies novelist’s 2003 book, Three Wishes, has been optioned by EveryWhere Studios to develop in partnership with Netflix, and we’re kinda freaking out.
The Three Wishes small-screen adaptation deviates somewhat from the book, according to Deadline. It will follow the lives of three drastically different sisters whose lives are changed forever after a lavish wedding weekend ends in tragedy. Secrets emerge, and the sisters’ close bond begins to unravel in the wake of scandal.
Lila Feinberg (Younger) will adapt the script, and Moriarty will executive produce the series along with Tom Mazza (Date My Dad), David Calvert-Jones (Who Killed JonBenét?) and Karen Glass.
