No One Is a Bigger ‘Game of Thrones’ Fan Than Leslie Jones, and Seth Meyers & Varys Are Here to Prove it
What happens when you put comedienne Leslie Jones, Late Night host Seth Meyers and Game of Thrones' Varys in a room together? Answer: Game of Jones magic.
Jones is known for her hilarious live-tweets during each Game of Thrones episode, but sadly, she was too sick to tweet about last Sunday's episode. To make up for it, Meyers invited her over for a viewing party, and all we can say is girl's got a whole lot of passion for Game of Thrones...like more than George R.R. Martin.
From the moment Meyers pressed play, the Ghostbusters actress was captivated. Through her live and very animated critiques, we learned that if Queen Leslie had a castle, it would be called Compton Castle, she thinks Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) is just super high (same) and she's extremely confused as to why no one made mac and cheese during the Stark family reunion (again, same).
She begins to lay into Varys (Conleth Hill) and his fair-weather on-screen friendships, when in walks Lord Varys in the flesh. This is when Jones loses. Her. Mind. But as soon as her volcanic explosion of excitement starts, it's over, and she's in Hill's face telling him that she does not trust his character.
We were under the impression that Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard were the ultimate GoT fans, but Jones just significantly upped the ante.
