Leslie Jones Live-Tweeting the Olympics Is Like a Public Meltdown & We Can’t Look Away
In 2016, Leslie Jones live-tweeted the Olympics and, in turn, landed a trip to Rio as an NBC commentator. And now the 50-year-old is giving us a preview of the hilarious commentary that’s to come when she arrives at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics in a few short days.
Jones posted a series of tweets during last night’s snowboarding competition in which she provided her two cents on the sport, the artistry and, of course, the sexy coaches. It all began when she shared an inspiring video of Chloe Kim…
…before voicing her expectations for the 17-year-old’s future.
Jones followed up with a hilarious reaction to a skier’s fall: “That did not happen.”
Then said what we’re all thinking.
Although she didn’t give the commentators too much love…
…but that didn’t stop her from calling out snowboarder Shaun White’s hunky coach.
On multiple occasions.
She concluded the live tweets by giving a play-by-play of White’s halfpipe run…
…before providing a well-deserved theme song.
