The scenario: You’re whipping up dinner with a food-stained cookbook in one hand and a drippy whisk in the other, flipping through recipes while trying not to burn anything. Cooking is sooo fun, guys.
The Lenovo Smart Display, a Google-powered smart home device, wants to solve that.
All you have to do is say, “OK, Google, show me some recipes for [the thing you want most for dinner].” Fried chicken? Yep. Homemade pad see ew? On it. The device searches the internet based on your command and pulls up a list of options. You pick your favorite, say, “OK, Google, start cooking,” and the instructions and ingredients appear.
Unless, of course, you prefer to juggle a cookbook in one hand and a drippy whisk in the other. Your move.
“OK, Google: Make me up a five-course meal for two…and don’t forget dessert.” (Hey, we can dream…right?)
