In a new interview out today, new mom and Pinterest maven Lauren Conrad revealed the first photo of baby Liam and opened up about her life as a new mom, the delivery room experience and her dream newborn baby.

Making their big family debut, Conrad and sweet baby Liam sat down with People and shared that when it came to her delivery day, she and her husband, William Tell, wanted to be surprised when their son finally made his grand entrance into the world. "Before the delivery, I felt like I was getting ready for a blind date. We considered doing the 4D ultrasound but then decided to wait. I just remember thinking he was so cute—and I was surprised by how tiny he was,” she said of Liam, who weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces at birth.

Conrad and Tell, who welcomed their first child on July 5, had an inkling from the beginning that she was having a boy. "I always hoped I would have a boy. Boys are so fun. I was a tomboy, and I always play best with boys. When we found out, I was so excited." If dreamboat Channing Tatum can admit he loves Pinterest, then we suppose we can mentally grasp Conrad's claim that she's a tablescape-loving tomboy.

Since the fashion designer and her lawyer hubby brought Liam home, he’s been sleeping three to four hours at a time and has been “such a good baby.” Liam has been such a bright light in the couple’s lives that they’re already considering a further expansion of the Tell household. "I was looking at him the other day, and I was like, 'I understand now why people keep having babies!'" Conrad beamed. Erm, we love the enthusiasm, but let's see if her tune changes after the next few weeks of sleep deprivation set in...

Sarcasm aside, with a baby that cute, we totally get why she'd want another ASAP.
