Lady Gaga's Necklace Is Worth $30 Million, and She's Only the Third Woman to Ever Wear It

Leave it to Lady Gaga to blow us away on the red carpet (for, like, the billionth time this year). The number one reason: Her stunning $30 million 128-carat yellow diamond Tiffany necklace.

Nominated for Best Actress and Best Original Song for A Star Is Born, Mother Monster wore a structural black gown by Alexander McQueen and black gloves, putting her in the “best dressed” category as well.

But it was her necklace featuring one of the largest yellow diamonds in the world that we couldn’t take our eyes off (or stop comparing to the one in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days). The Tiffany Yellow Diamond, considered among the most important gemstone discoveries of the 19th century, was unearthed in 1878 in the Kimberley Mine of South Africa, making it 141 years old, according to the company’s press release.

And it’s only been worn two times before: by Audrey Hepburn in a Breakfast at Tiffany’s photo shoot and by a socialite in Newport.

A Star Is Born again—this time wearing a 128-carat diamond necklace. NBD.
