“I’m not going to be able to wear any makeup tonight,” she wrote. “We just won our first of Grammy nominations for the night. I’m in tears with honor and gratitude. Thank you @RecordingAcad #Grammys #Grammy and my co-writers and Bradley I love you so much thank you.”
“Shallow” is also nominated for several other awards at this evening’s ceremony, including Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Lady Gaga penned the song along with producers Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt.
It’s expected that “Goddess Gaga” will perform the hit song on the Grammys’ stage tonight. Nonetheless, the IRL Jackson and Ally will reunite to perform “Shallow” at the 91st annual Oscars on Sunday, February 24, on ABC at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET.
In addition to her awards for the A Star Is Born tune and “Joanne,” Gaga previously won Grammys for “Bad Romance, “Poker Face, The Game, The Fame Monster and Cheek to Cheek.
Something tells us she may need to dust off some more room on the ol’ mantle.
