Dry-Clean Your Meat Dress & Save the Date: A Lady Gaga Documentary Is Coming to Netflix
Call Jo Calderone and gather up your fellow Little Monsters because a Mother Monster—aka Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, aka Lady Gaga—biopic is coming to a Netflix queue near you.
Gaga announced her forthcoming documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two, via a series of very personal Instagram videos and psychedelic images of her face melting posted over the last several days.
In the first video, the “Poker Face” singer swims in a pool alone as a voice-over of Gaga crying on the phone to her best friend Brandon Maxwell plays. Clearly distressed, she confides, “I’m alone, Brandon, every night. And all these people will leave, right? They will leave and then I’ll be alone. And I go from everyone touching me all day and talking at me all day to total silence.” *Heart breaks immediately*
In another clip, she appears especially vulnerable as she sits on the table during a doctor's appointment for her chronic pain.
The final clip shows the iconic singer sharing her admiration for Madonna, but of course cuts after she says, “The only thing that really bothers me about her is…” Tell us, tell us, tell us!
The anthemic singer also shared several other videos: one of her being lifted to the roof before her Super Bowl performance, and another divulging she has not yet seen the full documentary because she doesn't think she can be objective.
Gaga: Five Foot Two hits Netflix September 22. Buckle up for an emotional ride.
