Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper Performed ‘Shallow' Live for the First Time Ever

It may not be Lady Gaga’s first time performing “Shallow” live, but it’s certainly her first time performing it with Bradley Cooper in front of her Little Monsters.

On Saturday, the Oscar-nominated A Star Is Born actress was joined on stage in Las Vegas by co-star and director Cooper to perform their duet, “Shallow,” which is nominated for the Best Original Song Oscar. While Gaga typically closes out her Enigma residency show in Vegas with the GoldenGlobe–winning song, this is the first time she’s brought out Cooper to sing it with her live.

The two are set to perform the song live at the Academy Awards show, which takes place on February 24, according to Variety. So the weekend’s performance was probably practice for their Oscars debut—though, do these two really need any practice?

Before Cooper made it on stage, Gaga did a little happy dance to show off her excitement about what was going down. And that’s going to be our mood from now ’til we see them at the awards. In the clip, Cooper starts out singing his verse, before Mother Monster sits down at the piano to belt out her part. The co-stars-turned-BFFs end the song sitting next to each other at the piano.

Hurry up, February.
