In the age of social distancing, there’s only one thing on our mind: distractions. Luckily, Kristen Bell has been flooding her Instagram page with a slew of feel-good content. Yes, she’s always been a good follow, but we’re starting to realize that Bell’s social media has an ideal combination of serious topics and uplifting stories, and it’s (temporarily) making us forget about all the chaos.

Here’s why Kristen Bell’s Instagram page is exactly what we need right now.

1. She Shares Useful Advice

Bell revealed that she’s still accepting packages from Amazon and other retailers during the pandemic. However, she encouraged her followers to adopt a tactful approach when receiving the items.

“I ask the delivery person to please leave the boxes outside,” she wrote on Instagram. “Then I open the packages outside—touching them with a wipe or glove. Dispose of the packaging and glove/wipe outside. Wipe down the contents of the package with disinfectant and bring the contents inside.”

2. She Maintains A Positive Attitude

The Frozen 2 star shared a video of a man using cooking oil to create a DIY treadmill in his kitchen and asked fans for their support in the caption. “Please enjoy this at home workout video my dad found online…” she wrote. “And visit Stories to learn how you can support organizations fighting the COVID-19 outbreak. It’s a scary time, but it’s also an opportunity for us all to come together and take care of one another.”

3. She's Relatable

Bell shared a meme that will make every parent with kids at home say, “Same.” She wrote, “Don’t be ashamed. We are all gonna do it.”

4. She's Trying To Ease The Panic

Bell reposted a video from the Mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti. In the caption, she revealed that there is no food shortage and asked her followers to refrain from hoarding items.

“There is no food shortage in the city of Los Angeles. You do not need to rush to the grocery store,” she wrote. “I know a lot of Angelenos are feeling anxious about these uncertain and difficult times, but rest assured our markets will remain open and well-stocked. Remember, we're all in this together and shouldn't hoard more than we need. Please practice social distancing when you shop.”

5. She's Informed

Although the media is bombarded with coronavirus news, it’s important to stay informed. Bell shared a slideshow of photos, detailing facts about who’s more likely to be at risk.

6. She's Spreading Awareness About At-home Fitness

Since most gyms are closed, Bell encouraged fans to follow Charlie Curtis, who is posting his workouts online until the pandemic subsides. “So many of my friends are handling this experience with grace,” she wrote. “Here’s @charcurtis, who is posting his crossfit workouts on his page if anyone wants to work out from home!!”

7. She Loves Dogs Just As Much As We Do

Bell used a totally unrelated photo of her dog, Barb (no, not that one), to debate an important issue, and you won’t hear us complaining.

“Can we all agree to let the ppl over 65 yrs old to go to the grocery store from 7-10am? Then everyone else can go after 10am? I think this is a good idea,” she wrote. “Also, here’s a beautiful picture of Barb falling asleep on the couch sitting way too close to me because I have Oreos.”

8. She's Keen On Distractions

Please enjoy this video of a cat licking a pig’s ear. (Yes, it’s just as delightful as it sounds.)
