Is Kim Cattrall's next role going to be on House of the Dragon? Most likely not, but the comedic actress posed on a throne that looked fit for a Targaryen queen in her latest Instagram post, which she shared on the day of her 67th birthday.
Cattrall shared the snap along with a quote from the Best Picture-winning movie Gladiator (2000): “Imagine where you will be and it will be so..”
Along with this Gladiator quote, Cattrall also included an emoji of a heart and a kiss mark. Clearly she has visions of royal-esque success in her future.
The Sex and the City alum shared this snap on August 21, AKA her birthday. But immediately after, she also posted the same photo stitched next to a snap of herself holding a plate of two brownies with candles in them. “Birthday” by the Beatles played in the background of this collage. It's been a big week for Cattrall, who not only celebrated another trip around the sun, but who also made a cameo in the season two finale of And Just Like That... (which just got renewed for season three, BTW).
While Cattrall had yet to make an appearance in the Sex and the City sequel series (other than in the form of text exchanges), we finally got to see her on screen in the AJLT finale, which premiered today. At the start of the episode, her character, Samantha Jones, shares a phone call with main character Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker). As to whether Cattrall will make any appearances in season three is still unknown.
