Kerry Washington's Lanvin Dress in Her Latest IG Post Is Giving Major Santa Vibes (in the Best Way Possible)

It appears that Christmas has arrived a little early this year and the gift is Kerry Washington's iconic fashion sense.

The Scandal actress just posted a new stunning outfit to her Instagram account and the look is giving us serious Santa Claus vibes (but in the best way possible). In the two photos, Washington stands in front of a steel blue door and she wrote in the caption, “Knock Knock. Who’s there? ME. In @lanvinofficial #FashionFridayDadJokes? #BetterWithEarl.”

Besides making dad jokes, Washington is seen sporting a navy blue outfit from Lanvin's Fall/Winter '21 Ready-to-Wear collection along with some stiletto heels. The sleeveless look featured a sweetheart neckline and a pleated skirt, along with panels of a textured fabric going down the bottom half of the ensemble. However, we couldn't get over the giant statement belt in the center, which would certainly make Santa Claus jealous. Also, the panels of white are very reminiscent of the white fur that goes down the middle of the holiday figure's coat.

Of course, while we wouldn't exactly call Saint Nick a fashion inspiration, the staples of this figure's clothing were transformed on Washington, who looked incredibly chic.

Other celebs were just as amazed by the outfit as we were, like Insecure actress Yvonne Orji, who said, “Ma’am. MADAM. MAAAAAMMMM!! Listen here! Ok. I got no words!!!!” Meanwhile, Girlfriends star Jill Marie Jones commented, “I Cannot With YOUUUUUUU!!!! #GORG.”

Washington has been killing it lately, posting lots of winning ensembles on Instagram ranging from light blue suit and golden jewelry combos to white cut-out dresses and matching heels.

It's always the most wonderful time of the year when Kerry is posting.
