Kerry Washington Stole the Show in a Creamsicle Corset Dress at the Producers Guild Awards Last Night

Kerry Washington must be just as pumped for the new season of Bridgerton as we are, because the Scandal actress showed up to the Producers Guild Awards in an outfit that looked straight out of the Regency-era series.

Washington caught everyone's attention this past Saturday in a creamsicle-colored corset dress courtesy of Sergio Hudson's spring/summer 2022 collection. The sleeveless design featured a corset-like bodice along with a form-fitting skirt composed of panels of fabric. At the very bottom of the skirt, the silk fanned out at the back into a large, scalloped train.

The ensemble was put together by Washington's frequent stylist, Law Roach, who paired the gown with Jimmy Choos and Chopard diamond jewelry. Washington showed off the look on her Instagram, where she simply wrote, “#PGAAwards,” along with a heart and sparkles emoji.

While Law Roach put together Washington's outfit, her thick ponytail was styled by Larry Jarah Sims and her makeup was done by Carola Gonzalez. Meanwhile, her nails were done by Kim Truong.

Fellow celebs were enamored with the ensemble, like Taraji P. Henson, who said, “It’s giving elegance HENNY.” Heather Dubrow wrote, “Soooooo beautiful,” while Tamu McPherson commented a series of heart-eye emojis.

This is not the first time we've seen the 45-year-old star rock a corset dress. For the Primetime Emmy Awards last September, Washington showed up in a silver Etro gown adorned with a matching corset around the stomach. She paired this look with jewelry from De Beers and custom shoes from Stuart Weitzman.

With all of these incredible corset-centered outfits, we think Kerry deserves at least a cameo in Bridgerton.
