Kelly Ripa Reveals the ‘Awkward’ (and Very Funny) Way She Leaves Zoom Meetings

Famous TV hosts—they're just like us.

Not all the time, of course, but when it comes to the trials and tribulations of getting used to all these Zoom meetings, yep...according to Kelly Ripa.

The Live with Kelly & Ryan co-host, 50, revealed the way she bids coworkers adieu after virtual meetings, and it's equal parts funny and relatable.

In the clip from the show, Ripa says, "What I do is, when I'm leaving Zoom, I announce that I'm leaving awkwardly, because when I leave, it takes me about 15 minutes to leave. So people watch me leave and I go...'Um, I'm signing off now and I'm going to leave awkwardly.' And then you see me try to figure out how to leave."

After co-host Ryan Seacrest gently mentions Zoom's 'Leave' button, Ripa admits that while she knows that it's there, actually leaving the meeting is easier said than done.

"There is a leave button, but no matter how many times I click on Leave, I can't seem to leave the meeting," she says. "So I sit there and you see me up close, nostrils in the camera, trying to figure it out. Then sometimes I just close the computer screen and then I get texts like, 'You're still in the meeting.'"

Oh, to be on one of those Zoom calls...
