Kelly Ripa Shares Throwback of Her Wedding Venue & Explains Major Photo Mishap

Kelly Ripa is reminiscing about her Las Vegas wedding to her husband Mark Consuelos.

On Thursday, the Live! with Kelly and Ryan co-host posted a throwback photo of herself and hubby revisiting the Chapel of the Bells where the couple tied the knot back in 1996. And by the looks of the image, her children don’t have the best photography skills. “#tbt 2009. When we took the kids to the scene of crime 13 years later. (Also, this is why i take all the photos),” she captioned the image.

Ripa met her husband on the set of the ABC soap opera All My Children where she starred from 1990 until 2002 while Consuelos snagged the role of Mateo Santos in 1995. One year after they met, the couple eloped in Las Vegas. The craziest part? The duo actually called it quits not long before they got married. The day after they got back together, they got hitched.

Years later, the couple welcomed three children—Lola, Joaquin and Michael. And by the looks of the comments, they weren't the only ones who chose Chapel of the Bells as their wedding venue. One user commented on the post, “Hubby and I got married there in Oct of 2006. 24years and 3 kids later and still going strong!!” while another added, “I was married there in 1979.”

We need to know who took those photos ASAP.
