Kelly Ripa Just Called Ryan Seacrest Her ‘Other Husband’ & the Reason Is Super Relatable

Move over, Mark Consuelos. There’s another husband in Kelly Ripa’s life, according to the 50-year-old actress.

On Monday, the producers of Live with Kelly and Ryan shared their daily video on Instagram of Ripa and her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, making their way to the studio to film their morning show. As per usual, the hosting duo was engaged in a casual conversation—only this time, Ripa referred to her partner as something we’ve never heard before: her “other husband.”

During the clip, Ripa tells Seacrest a story about her weekend, involving meat, Sunday dinners and her kids. However, while the mother of three is in the middle of telling her story, she realizes that the American Idol alum is not paying attention.

“He doesn’t listen,” she tells the camera. “He’s like my other husband. It’s like having two husbands. Now two men don’t listen to me.” LOL. Of course, Seacrest had an excuse, responding with, “I was holding the door open for you.” At least he was being a chivalrous second husband.

It’s clear the remarks were made all in good fun. We know Ripa only has one official hubby. However, she does consider Seacrest part of the family. Not only have they been co-hosting Live together for over three years, but they also celebrate major holidays and milestones together.

In fact, last week the All My Children star shared a slideshow of throwback photographs of her family, plus Seacrest, in costumes from past Halloweens. “#tbt Halloween is a family business,” she captioned the post alongside a handful of emojis. “Here are a few faves over the years.”

A real husband and a work husband? Kelly is one lucky gal.
