We Knew We Recognized Kelly Ripa’s New Profile Pic from Somewhere...

Every time Kelly Ripa makes an update to her social media, we’re not ashamed to say we’re one of the first to notice.

So, when we paid a visit to her Instagram this morning, we couldn’t help but spot that her most recent profile photo had been swapped for a new, yet still familiar pic. Instead of her Halloween-themed image, featuring herself dressed as Moira Rose from Schitt’s Creek, the 50-year-old actress’s page now features a throwback snap of herself at age two.

In the photo (although small), we see a young Ripa donning a red and white jumper and a pair of sweet pigtails. And it wasn’t long before we realized that we’d seen the image before...in fact, 26 weeks ago. As it turns out, the photo (which she shared for Mother’s Day) isn’t just of the All My Children star, it’s actually a full family portrait featuring her mother and baby sister. And wow that hair.

“In honor of Mother's Day a flashback photo from July 1973,” she captioned the post. “I love you mom! (she will never see this. She doesn't have Instagram).”

It seems like the photo is only one from an entire photoshoot. Back in July, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host celebrated the Fourth of July by sharing another image from the same day, only this time, Ripa was posing on a tricycle.

In these throwbacks, everything from the eyes to the smile and nose looks identical to the TV personality today. So, whether she’s two or 50, any photo makes for a good profile pic in her case.
