This photo proves that Kelly Ripa’s sons, Michael (24) and Joaquin (18), are spitting images of their dad, Mark Consuelos.
This week, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host, 50, posted a never-before-seen picture on her personal Instagram account in honor of National Sons Day. The pic shows Ripa sitting next to Michael and Joaquin, who both look like miniature versions of Consuelos. (No offense, Ripa.)
In the photo, Michael and Joaquin are kneeling behind their mom and posing for the camera. Both men could practically pass as their dad’s doppelganger, from their floppy hairstyles to the way they squint their eyes when they smile. Oh, and how could we forget about those pearly whites?
Ripa is also looking gorgeous in a bright orange caftan and sunglasses while sipping a cup of coffee. But as for the likeness to her sons, it’s practically non-existent (in this image, at least).
The caption read, “Did someone say #nationalsonsday ? How lucky am I?” Although Ripa didn’t say where the photo was taken, it looks like it was captured during the family’s summer 2021 European getaway.
Fans immediately filled the comments section with compliments about the good-looking family. One person wrote, “Lucky lady surrounded by handsome men.” Another added, “And to think it all started on a soap opera.” Someone even said what we’re all thinking: “Where is Chewie the dog?”
One thing’s for sure: Good genes run in the family.
