Kelly Ripa Posts Rare Throwback Photos with Madonna That We Didn’t Know Existed

Kelly Ripa is throwing it wayyyyyy back for her dear friend Madonna’s birthday.

In honor of the singer’s 65th birthday, the Live with Kelly and Mark co-host, 52, posted an array of photos of her and the Grammy award winner taken back in the day on Instagram.

In the fourth slide, there is a photo of Ripa fangirling so hard as she reaches out to grab the “Vogue” singer’s hand while she is performing onstage. Another picture shows the morning talk show host standing next to the musician, who holds Ripa’s youngest son, Joaquin Consuelos, while he was a baby.

While also giving a special birthday shoutout to Art Moore (who is executive producer of Live with Kelly and Mark), Ripa wrote in the caption, “Let’s give birthday wishes to two of my favorite people…Art Moore and @madonna! Thank you both for all the celebrations!”

The All My Children alum has been a big fan of Madonna for a while. Back in June, the mother of three sat down for an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight. When asked who her dream guest would be on her podcast series, Let's Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, Ripa only had one person in mind: Madonna.

“We made our pitch, we’ve shot our shot,” Ripa teased. “We’ll see what happens. I mean, she’s a little busy right now working on the tour.”
