One of the biggest highlights of the Halloween season is getting to see Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest flaunt their epic costumes on Live with Kelly and Ryan—and we can already tell that they're not holding back in this year's Halloween special.
In a recent behind-the-scenes clip from Live!, Ripa offered fans a glimpse of her Joe Exotic costume and, guys, to say that we're impressed feels like an understatement.
In the short clip, Ripa is the spitting image of the Netflix star, all the way down to his facial expression. She sports a blonde wig and Joe's signature mustache with blue jeans, a belt and an '80s fringe jacket.
In a second behind-the-scenes clip, the co-host reveals the secret behind her stellar transformation. She explains, "On Halloween days, I get my makeup done by Kristofer Buckle. And therefore, I have the beauty makeup for the show, but then I get the horror makeup for Halloween. Kristofer made me look like the Tiger King."
Buckle then adds, "Yes, and other hideous people." Um, is Buckle taking on any new clients this Halloween for makeovers?
You might recall quite a few of Ripa's most memorable costumes from past Halloweens, which include Wednesday Addams, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Lucy Ricardo and Seacrest himself. In fact, Ripa recently shared a collection of her favorite festive looks and captioned the post, "Ghosts of Halloweens past....Tune in October 30th for #LiveHalloween!"
