Kelly Ripa Says Her Favorite Dance Partner Is a *Former* 'Live' Co-Host (Sorry, Ryan Seacrest)

Kelly Ripa has been in quite the dancing mood recently. She’s started the last few episodes of Live with Kelly and Ryan by showing off her impressive moves. However, on Wednesday’s installment, she revealed who her “danciest” dance partner is.

Earlier this week, the producers of the hit morning show shared their daily behind-the-scenes clip of the 50-year-old TV personality and Ryan Seacrest kicking off the episode. And of course, the All My Children alum made sure to shimmy her way into her seat. “We’re live now!” the post’s caption read.

“Good morning, Ryan Seacrest,” Ripa said before turning her attention to the show’s new announcer, Deja Vu. “Deja, if you can get Anderson to dance on out here...” Seacrest replied, “I don't think he would be pressured into that easily.”

And while at first we thought the co-hosts were talking about someone behind-the-scenes from Live, based on the second half of the conversation (and the rest of the episode), we know they were actually talking about CNN correspondent, Anderson Cooper.

Ripa continued, “He's such a good time—I mean back when we used to have good times. He is such a good time Charlie. And he’s so fun on the dance floor. He is my danciest dance partner off-camera. And yet on camera, something happens.”

“He’s got a serious job,” Seacrest added, “His job’s fun but he’s got a serious job on the news.”

Hey, he’s filled in as a co-host a few times. So, it’s definitely possible.
