Kelly Ripa Shares Rare Throwback from 2001 Family Vacation: ‘Babies with Their Babies’

Kelly Ripa is no stranger to inadvertently embarrassing her three kids on social media (especially Lola). However, she switched things up this week with a sweet throwback photo of her family on vacation.

On Thursday, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host posted an Instagram on her personal account in honor of #throwbackthursday. “#tbt 2001 Babies with their babies,” she captioned the slideshow of photos featuring herself, Mark Consuelos and their two eldest children, Michael and Lola.

The photograph was taken five years after the couple tied the knot in Las Vegas which means that Michael was about four and Lola was not even a year old. Unfortunately, Joaquin wasn’t born yet so he missed that little family vacay.

In the first snap, we see a 30-year-old Consuelos holding baby Lola in the pool, while the second image features Ripa holding a crying Lola (who is donning a tutu) while a young Michael looks on. And we couldn’t help but notice that both Ripa and Consuelos haven’t aged a bit.

These days, Michael (23) is an actor who recently graduated from New York University with a degree in film. Not to mention, he’s practically an exact replica of his father. Lola (19) is currently still attending the same university and studying music, while Joaquin (17) is in his last year of high school (although we imagine he will follow in his siblings’ footsteps and attend NYU).
