Kelly Ripa, hear us out: We must see more of your bathroom.
Um, that sounds like a strange and desperate request, but the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host just gave us all the tiniest peek of her New York City bathroom—so tiny you could call it crumbs—and now we need a full-blown tour. See for yourself.
The glimpse came courtesy of Ripa’s recent Instagram story that she posted of her dog, Chewie. (Apparently, he does not like bath time, unlike the rest of us.)
In the photo, you can make out what we think is a walk-in shower…and that’s just about it. There’s a light fixture. White walls. So yeah, we’d like to see a little bit more. (Imagine the vanity situation.)
According to Curbed, Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, own a $27M townhouse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, which they purchased in 2013 after moving out of their Soho penthouse. The 7,796-square-foot property was never publicly listed, but reportedly got a complete renovation just before Ripa and Consuelos bought it. According to the New York Daily News, it has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and a rooftop garden, which we wouldn’t mind documented on Instagram as well.
In fairness, Ripa has shared other photos of what might be the same bathroom on her Instagram. Then again, there are six of them.
Until recently, Ripa and her family had been quarantining on an island in the Caribbean, where they happened to be when the pandemic struck, before returning home to New York. We imagine Chewie is glad they’re home, apart from the bath thing.
