Kelly Clarkson & John Stamos Team Up for Virtual Karaoke

Kelly Clarkson enlisted the help of one of her very famous friends (and fellow Beach Boys fan) John Stamos for a special segment of “QUARaoke.”

On Thursday’s at-home episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the duo teamed up (virtually, of course) for a performance of the band’s classic “Kokomo.”

And boy did they deliver. Not only did Clarkson sing the song (with Stamos on the backup vocals), but they also included a music video full of beach imagery, John playing the bongos and even a special appearance from the American Idol alum’s bandmates.

“I really love this song,” Clarkson said at the end of the video. Stamos has a long relationship with the track. In fact, the actor appeared in the 1988 music video for the hit song. Not to mention, his Full House character, Jesse Katsopolis, was also a huge fan of the band and even played with them for a concert in a Hawaii episode.

ICYMI: The Voice coach is currently self-isolating at her cozy cabin in Montana—where (as she recently admitted) she needed to use her child’s toddler potty. The 38-year-old singer shared a home tour video on YouTube of her one-room “efficiency cabin,” which is currently housing her entire family: Clarkson and her husband, Brandon Blackstock; their two children, River (5) and Remington (3); and the singer’s step-children, Savannah (18) and Seth (13).

The 56-year-old actor on the other hand is sticking out the pandemic at his home in Los Angeles. And while we don’t exactly know where the other bandmates are located, it looks like they’re already on some tropical getaway (Kokomo perhaps?).

If we weren’t in the mood for a vacation before, we sure are now.
