There are many ways to announce a pregnancy. Keira Knightley chose the “Chanel cocktail party” route. (Surprise!)
The 34-year-old actress, joined by her husband, James Righton, debuted her cute bump on the way to a cocktail party hosted by the French design house in Paris Thursday night.
The Collette actress looked radiant, wearing a Grecian-inspired, empire waist gown designed by Chanel, accented with strappy gold block heels.
Knightley and her husband (a musician) welcomed their first daughter, Edie, in 2015. Knightley spoke candidly to Harper’s Bazaar UK about the experience of motherhood, saying, “Once you’ve had that whole experience of leaking breasts everywhere and the messiness of it—there’s no control, it’s animalistic. I feel that in a funny way with acting it sort of helps; there is no embarrassment any more.” She’s also been outspoken about instilling feminist values in her daughter at a young age (starting with the ban of certain Disney movies.)
We have a feeling baby number two will be the same. Congrats to the happy family of (almost) four!
