Katy Perry Shares Series of Intimate Photos from Her Birthday Weekend

Katy Perry celebrated her 37th birthday last week and she just gave her followers an intimate glimpse into all of the festivities that ensued.

In order to start her new trip around the sun off right, the “Firework” singer traveled to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with her husband, Orlando Bloom, and a few of her friends, including attorney Lydia Kives and DJ Mia Moretti.

The singer shared shots from the trip on her account, and the post was like a photo album of memories, with images ranging from a screenshot of a FaceTime call between Perry and her parents, to a black-and-white video of her dancing in a speakeasy bar.

It's clear the American Idol judge had a good time, given her caption, where she said, “When you’re 37 hangovers last 5-7 business days.”

Fellow celebs showed their love in the comments, like Kate Hudson, who left a red heart emoji, and Derek Blasberg, who said, “I ♥ you.” Celebrity stylist Jamie Mizrahi took note of the fact that Perry made the post almost a week after her birthday, and she made a joke in reference to Perry's caption, writing, “So we only got one more day left of this bad boy?!”

The post included other special shots, including a snap of a vase of flowers and a handwritten note that were sent to Perry by fellow musician Fletcher. The 37-year-old received another bouquet that was arranged by the Los Angeles shop Magic Ribbon Floral Design, which included loads of pink, yellow, blue and purple flowers. We were also treated to shots of her riding horses on the beach, catching sun on a boat with Bloom and watching a movie out on the sand.

Happy birthday, Katy! We hope your head is feeling better.
