You Need to See the Special Instagram Post Katie Holmes Dedicated to Suri for National Daughters Day

The Dawson's Creek star shared a mother-daughter painting, showcasing a sweet moment between a mother and her child. (A possible resemblance to the duo when Suri was younger?) The unknown woman holds flowers in her arms, while placing some on the shy child. It's an artistic choice, but it clearly had an emotional impact on Holmes's 1.7 million followers, who crowded her comments with red hearts. 

She captioned the image, "#nationaldaughterday" along with a ton of heart emojis (probably to give her mini me some virtual hugs and kisses). 

The Kennedys actress rarely shares images of her daughter or posts much about her in her feed. The last image of the 13-year-old was in March on a service trip to Greece (with paparazzi pics getting the two at Suri's 13th birthday in April). The pics revealed that when she's not teaching her new teenager about philanthropy, they're sometimes walking the streets of New York City trying (successfully) to hail a cab. Ultimate mom goals internationally and domestically. 

Holmes often shows off her other fave things on Instagram: art and florals, so the recent post is very on-brand for the actress.
