In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Dawson’s Creek premiere, the cast reunited on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. And to our surprise, a certain former onscreen couple took the opportunity as an excuse to get a little handsy.
Yep, Joey (Katie Holmes) and Pacey (Joshua Jackson) reunited, and their chemistry is just as palpable now as it was in the ’90s.
Just look at how easily Holmes rests her hands on Jackson’s shoulders. It’s like the last 20 years (and Jamie Foxx) never happened. And that small, content smile on Jackson’s face? It’s a story waiting to be told.
Though Holmes and Jackson aren’t actually dating (sob), Twitter clearly noticed how much they were vibing during the reunion photo shoot. Take, for instance, this detail-oriented young woman.
But who could blame us for shipping them when Holmes is wearing Jackson’s hat? Answer: Not a damn soul.
Oh, and there’s this breathtaking moment, when Jackson slipped back into his familiar place on Holmes’s shoulder. *Swoon*
Um, did we mention that he also put his hand on her back while the cast chatted? So. Many. Feels.
It's hard to deny that IRL Joey and Pacey look just as great together as they did back in Capeside.
