Katie Holmes Posts Stunning Black-and-White Glamour Shot as Part of #ChallengeAccepted Campaign

Katie Holmes is taking part in a viral social media challenge by sharing a gorgeous selfie.

On Monday, the Dawson’s Creek star posted a photograph of herself in honor of the current “Challenge Accepted” campaign. If you didn’t know, “Challenge Accepted” consists of women posting a black-and-white picture of themselves, using the hashtag #WomenSupportingWomen and including a thank you to the woman who nominated them. (For a more in-depth explanation on the challenge, head here.)

Other celebs who have participated include Kerry Washington, Eva Longoria and Sheinelle Jones, to name a few. In this case, the 41-year-old actress was nominated by stylist Jeanne Yang.

“Thank you @jeanneyangstyle #challengeaccepted,” she captioned the shot. “Let’s hold each other up and support one another!!!!!” In the pic, we see Holmes looking super glamourous in silk as she poses for a photoshoot (unclear when or where the photo was taken).

The photo quickly gained a ton of attention online and acquired over 46,000 likes. One fan commented on the post, “I thought this was Rita Hayworth!” (We totally see it.) Another wrote, “Absolutely Gorgeous!”

This isn’t the first post we’ve seen of the actress this month. The Batman Begins star also recently shared a beautiful snap of herself seated on a dock (and channeling her inner Joey Potter we might add) surrounded by blue skies and fluffy clouds. In the pic, Holmes looked stunning in a loose-fitting white dress with thin shoulder straps.

Stunning selfies for a good cause? Now that’s something we can always get behind.
