Kathie Lee Gifford just dropped some major news: She’s officially off the market (again).
Earlier this morning, the 67-year-old appeared on the Today show and announced that she’s currently in a relationship with a mystery person.
“I’m in a really special relationship with somebody,” she said. “It’s nice and fun and healthy. So that’s good. You know what, it’s just happy.”
The exciting news comes six years after Gifford lost her husband, Frank, back in 2015. The talk show host confirmed that she’s finally in a good place, adding, “I don’t want to mess it up, and I probably already have by just even mentioning it. You know, to just be in a place where you feel like every aspect of your life is good. You know, that nothing’s missing. And that’s a beautiful place to be. I’m just so grateful.”
Gifford isn’t the only person who dropped a major announcement this week. A few days ago, Gayle King appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and revealed that she’s going to be a grandma. The news anchor explained that her daughter, Kirby Bumpus, is expecting her first child with her husband, Virgil Miller.
“Ellen, I have to tell you this: Right before I came on the air, I said, ‘Kirby, you know, I’m doing Ellen today. Can I tell Ellen?’ Ellen—she’s pregnant. She is pregnant,” she said. “We haven’t told anybody because I’ve been held to secrecy. She told all of her friends this past weekend, so she said I could tell you.”
Wishing Gifford all the best as she enters this new life chapter.
