Kate Middleton Sports Peacock Print and a New Hairstyle in Blackpool

Call it a coincidence, but we're twinning with Kate Middleton in allover green (us, with envy; her, in a monochrome ensemble).

During her and Prince William's visit to Blackpool, England, today (about 250 miles from Kensington Palace), the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge greeted well-wishers who braved a rainy downpour.

Middleton wore a dark green Sportmax coat (she previously wore in Edinburgh in 2016, similar here) over a Michael by Michael Kors peacock-print midi dress (already sold out). She carried her trusty emerald-green Manu Atelier top-handle mini bag (that she brought to Scotland a few weeks ago) and wore black Ralph Lauren heeled boots.

While we didn't get a full view of the dress, the peacock-print color scheme completes her verdant green ensemble.

A group of children from Happy Tots nursery Blackpool welcomed the royal couple with flowers.

The couple traveled to the seaside town of Blackpool today to visit a series of innovative projects that are focused on investment and regeneration. They stopped at Blackpool Tower, the Tower Ballroom (where they saw a ballroom dancing performance).

William also received what looked to be a homemade paper crown and necklace in the video above (minute mark 1:40)...and we're betting Prince George has already called dibs on the crown, and Princess Charlotte on the necklace.

Middleton also braved the weather by debuting a new ponytail hairstyle instead of her usual voluminous blowout. The ponytail elastic was covered by strands of her own hair wrapped around it.

We have to say, the duchess is definitely sticking to a green theme this spring. On Tuesday, she wore a pale blue-green dress to Prince Charles's 50th anniversary party at Buckingham, and last week, Middleton wore a mint green Missoni dress in Belfast.

It's official, you guys: March is the month of all-green errythang. (And, yeah, we coulda called that one.)
