Kate Middleton Handles Near-Wardrobe Malfunction Like a Pro

Kate Middleton had quite the Marilyn Monroe moment during one of her royal engagements yesterday. Well, almost.

The Duchess of Cambridge joined a creative workshop run by the National Portrait Gallery’s Hospital Programme at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital to observe how the arts support children’s health, well-being and happiness.

For the occasion, the royal mom of three opted for a bespoke Dolce & Gabbana skirt suit to meet with children receiving care at the facility. She paired the look with black tights and her Gianvito pumps.

However, when she arrived and stepped out of the car, a gust of wind immediately blew her skirt upwards. The duchess was quick to hold the piece down in place to avoid the malfunction. Watch the clip below.

During the event, Middleton joined the children as they participated in activities such as photography, illustration and 3D set design. She has been Patron of the National Portrait Gallery since 2012 and became Patron of Evelina London in 2018.

Handled like a true duchess.
