Kate Middleton Dons Her Go-To Riding Boots for a Farm Visit (and a Romantic Stroll with Prince William)

The boots the duchess selected for her visit are a royal rewear. She opted for the same Penelope Chilvers long-tassled boots ($616) that she donned on her first outing back from maternity leave with Prince Louis and on a recent visit to Northern Ireland’s Ark Open Farm as part of her Early Years Foundation Five Big Questions Survey (seen below). 

The long tassel conker boots are expertly crafted from Spanish vegetable-dyed leather and feature a ladylike scalloped detail at the zipper panel. Optimal for outdoor activities, the soles are made from Goodyear Welted Comando rubber. They’re also cut close to the ankle to lengthen and slim the legs, which is always a plus in our book.

After today’s farm visit, the couple took a moment to themselves and enjoyed a walk along the pastoral Howth Cliff in Dublin.

They walked arm-in-arm, indulging in a rare moment of PDA (they had one last night, too!), and appreciated the sweeping views of the Irish Sea. 

Thank goodness those boots are literally made for walking.
