Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte aren’t regular royals, they’re fun royals. So when it came time to attend K-Middy’s bestie Sophie Carter’s wedding this past Saturday, they surprised us all and drew sartorial inspiration from the basic Coachella playbook. Yes, believe it or not, mother and daughter wore matching floral headbands.

Middleton paired a cornflower blue coat dress by Catherine Walker & Co. with a custom floral headpiece from milliner Juliette Botterill for the occasion. Charlotte, who served as a bridesmaid (again), brought all the whimsical vibes with a flower crown courtesy of some unnamed florist and a little white getup for her godmother’s nuptials.

So if they’re down with the flower crown, does this mean we can expect other Coachella favorites, like fringe vests and macramé crop tops, to start trickling into royal fashion? Don’t be ridiculous.
