While Middleton paired her suit with a vibrant blue button-down top, Prince William pulled off a similar color scheme, completing his look with a light blue shirt and dark tie. Looks like these matching outfits definitely weren't a coincidence.
The royal couple teamed up with journalist Kate Garraway to film the annual special, where they honored the National Health Service (NHS) for their role in fighting against the pandemic. They also spoke with representatives of the NHS at St Bartholomew's Hospital and showed support for Garraway's husband, who has been ill due to the virus.
At the event, Prince William said, "The devastating impact of the coronavirus pandemic has reminded us as a nation of how much we owe to the thousands of NHS workers who have gone far beyond the call of duty this year. They have worked tirelessly around the clock, with humility and compassion, in the most challenging of circumstances, putting their own lives on the line to help others."
Middleton also added, "Through our conversations with frontline workers during the pandemic, we have been inspired by their stories of bravery and selflessness."
Middleton's suit isn't the only bold look that we've seen from her this week. While the duchess and her husband met with finalists from her Hold Still photography project (a digital exhibit that focuses on the resilience of those who were affected by the pandemic), she was seen in a show-stopping red coat by Alexander McQueen.
Here's hoping we'll get even more twinning moments between Middleton and Prince William soon.
