Kate Middleton & Prince William Just Took Their Kids on a Secret Summer Outing

Kate Middleton and Prince William are using the last weeks of summer to get creative with their three kids.

According to Twitter account Kate’s Royal Closet, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently paid a visit to Mable’s Paint Pot in Kings Lynn with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The tweet reads: “The Cambridge’s were spotted at Mable’s Paint Pot, a pottery painting shop in Burnham Market, Norfolk. Kate and the children must have painted some adorable pieces!”

According to its website, the shop is a ceramic craft and pot painting center where “people of all ages can get creative with ceramics in a truly enchanting and inspiring setting.” The site continues, “We provide all the materials you’ll need and we are always on hand to offer friendly advice and encouragement.”

Customers choose which piece they want to paint from the shop’s range of items, including mugs, bowls, frames and more. Mable’s in Burnham Market also sells traditional sweets, cards, ice cream and flowers. How sweet.

The Cambridge clan has been spending the coronavirus pandemic at their country home in Norfolk and has only recently been stepping out (with the ease of restrictions) for royal engagements. The most recent outing was a trip to Wales, where the royal couple paid a visit to Barry Island and spoke with local business owners about the impact the coronavirus pandemic has had on the tourism industry. The duo also spent time playing arcade games and showing off their competitive sides.

However, they’ve also managed to keep the kids busy at the Anmer Hall estate with homeschooling and arts and crafts projects, including the one in Prince Louis’s second birthday portraits

We bet he painted a rainbow this time, too.
