Kate Middleton and Prince William Just Removed Prince Harry’s and Meghan Markle’s Names from Their Website

After Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s recent split from the Royal Foundation, Kate Middleton and Prince William have taken down their names from their website.

But, fear not, royal watcher, because this doesn’t stand for the final nail in the coffin of the Fab Four. Instead, it means that the Sussexes and the Cambridges will work to further the interests of their respective charities in a separate capacity, but may still join forces on big projects in the future (like the most recent mental health PSA video that all four royals’ voices are featured in).

According to People, Kate and William’s Royal Foundation website used to list their in-laws, Harry and Meghan, under “principals.” Now Meghan and Harry have been removed from the bottom of the homepage, and the Sussexes’ personal work, including Meghan’s Hubb community cookbook and Harry’s Invictus Games, are listed under “news” instead of their previous home of “programs.”

The first news of a split between the royal couples came in June of this year. The two couples had headed up the venture together since Markle joined the royal family upon her marriage to Harry. Before that, the Royal Foundation was led by Harry and William, with Kate added when she married William in 2011.

“The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex has today announced the conclusions of a review into its structure, and how it will best support Their Royal Highnesses with future charitable activity,” the palace’s June statement read. “Later this year The Royal Foundation will become the principal charitable and philanthropic vehicle for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will establish their own new charitable foundation with transitional operating support from The Royal Foundation.”

The Sussexes announced the name of their own charitable vehicle, the Sussex Royal Foundation, in July, but haven’t officially unveiled it to the world. They have, however, recently appointed two new directors. This update, though, makes it feel like a big announcement from Harry and Meghan is coming any minute (so set those Instagram notifications to “on,” people).

Next week, Kate and William will travel to Pakistan to kick off their royal tour. George, Charlotte and Louis will stay home while their parents travel around the country for four days in what Kensington Palace is calling the “most complex tour undertaken by The Duke and Duchess to date, given the logistical and security considerations.”

At least they’ve gotten their website updated, we guess. (Is this a Kate procrastination move to avoid packing? Because we totally get it, Your Highness.)
