Kate Middleton Now Feels Well Enough to Drop Prince George Off at School

Kate Middleton may have missed Prince George’s first day of school because she was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, a pregnancy condition that causes severe morning sickness. But now the duchess is feeling well enough to tackle Prince George’s morning ritual, including the emotional school drop-off.

Kate attended the Place2Be school leaders forum today and hinted that she’s been feeling well enough to bring her tiny royal to school. She said, “As a mother, just getting used to leaving my own child at the school gates, it is clear to me that it takes a whole community to help raise a child.”

Back in September, a solo Prince William brought Prince George to Thomas’s Battersea in London and revealed that his wife was too ill to attend the 4-year-old’s first day of school. But Kate’s comment regarding the inevitable emotional roller coaster that accompanies dropping off your child proves she’s no longer a drop-off newbie.

We’re just happy to see the duchess back in action.
